I would 100% recommend Martin and his team. Martin is an awesome human. You should hire him. I'm not sure what kind of work you're looking for, but I'll bet he'd figure it out and you'll be pleased with the result. We had Martin and Basements and Decks R Us finish our walkout basement in Superior. Every team member and contractor he brought in was kind and respectful and made us feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. They did an unbelievable job matching the aesthetic of the rest of our home. He even offered some critical suggestions when we were refining the layout. They finished within a week or two of their projection and the cost was 10-20% less expensive than other competitive estimates (and half the cost of some other jokers). Very minor issues have come up here and there since their completion and he has had absolutely no hesitation in helping us out. Keeping you happy is Martin's top priority and he makes that so evident. He made us feel so at ease and supported throughout the entire process. This dude is a boss.

Martin and his crew at Basements and Decks R Us are incredible. They converted an unfinished basement into a wonderful in-law suite with an adjacent office area. Communication along the way was excellent, as Martin continually kept us updated, and the advice offered was great. Even the inspections went smoothly, and the inspector’s comment “When things are done right, it’s an easy inspection”, boosted our trust. I cannot say enough. Throughout the project, they were responsive, skilled, efficient, attentive, friendly, and courteous. Oh, and it was finished sooner than anticipated. We would not hesitate to recommend them to others (and we already have) or hire them again.

I cannot say enough good things about Martin and Basements and Decks R Us. After being left high and dry with another contractor, we reached out to multiple companies to try and complete our basement renovation. Martin and his team were not only the most professional, but went above and beyond to walk us through every item so we could (finally) rest easy knowing our project would get back on track. The team answered every question we had - regardless of day or time - and never made us feel like we were being unreasonable. The project was completed right on schedule and not a penny over budget which was a huge relief. I would recommend Basements and Decks R Us to every person I know looking to do a home remodel/basement finish and will definitely be using them for any projects we have come up in the future!

Basements and Decks are professional, priced fairly and exceeded my expectations. I have worked with many contractors in the past but working with them has been great. They installed a new kitchen, bathrooms and painted the entire house. They have kept me informed and the work has been excellent. I plan on using them again.

Basements and Decks R Us have been excellent to work with. We had our basement finished (one large room, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a mechanical room) along with adding recessed lighting, additional electrical plugs in our garage, and replacing the carpet in our living room. Martin and Marcial were very helpful in planing the remodel. They were also very responsive and quick to reply throughout the process. For every issue that popped up they were quick to address it. Their pricing was also very reasonable.

Had Basements and DecksRUs finish my basement and I could not be happier! They worked fast, efficiently, and had amazing communication. They always let me know what was going to be done each week and when. Highly recommended to anyone who’s first time is it remodeling a home. I will be using them again for my backyard deck!

Martin and Marcial were amazing to work with. Open communication throughout the entire process, with no surprises. We did a partial basement finish that turned out top notch. We bought a new to us house Jan 1st & wanted to remodel & finish the basement before moving in when our lease would be up at the end of April. I interviewed 5 different contractors & ultimately chose Martin & his crew at Basements & Decks. He was reasonably priced & said that he could have it completed in time & he did! It was a tall order with all that we wanted done & he did not disappoint! Martin is very knowledgeable & willing to explain the process. He was easy to work with & very responsive. His contractors were trustworthy & hardworking. We are very happy with how everything turned out. Some of my favorite parts of what they did was moving our fireplace, closing in the dining room & adding barn doors & a dimensional wall, as well as the bathroom expansion & remodel. I'm saving my pennies for the next 3 projects that we will have Martin with Basements & Decks R Us complete for us!

We loved working with Martin and his team for our basement finishing project and we would recommend him to anyone looking for a fair and reputable contractor. After interviewing two other contractors (one was overpriced and had a long timeline and the other refused to provide a professional contract) we found Basements and Decks R Us on Angie’s List and decided to give them a try. Martin prepared a clear quote and contract immediately, and explained every step of the project to us. We just completed the project, exactly on time as promised, and slightly under budget. The quality of the work is great, and all of Martin’s workers were courteous, paid attention to detail, and got their jobs done in the timeline promised. This was a really large project, about 1300 square feet, and any issues that came up were addressed immediately. We had great communication with Martin and his team, and we are so happy with the basement. I would absolutely use Basements and Decks R us again.

We had Basements and Decks R Us create a bedroom out of an unfinished storage room in our basement. They had the most competitive bid out of the four we had gathered. Everyone involved in the job was a pleasure to work with and did outstanding work. No one settled on anything less than perfect, doing it right the first time. Our project was completed way ahead of schedule and on budget. Every inspection was passed on the first time and the inspectors always commented on the quality of work that they were seeing. We trusted them enough that they often worked alone in our home, and when we were home with our three toddlers/infants, they were respectful of making a minimal amount of noise. Each day the job site was spotlessly clean. Can't recommend enough.

We reached out to Martin in an interesting situation where our contractor had health issues and could not continue our bathroom remodel after completing the demolition. Martin was highly responsive and respectful to our situation and made the transition as seamless as possible. His crew of David and Eli were above and beyond amazing as well.
